Shelli Weiler

Shelli Weiler is a photography major at Wesleyan University. She transferred from Brandeis University, where she worked at the Brandeis Rape Crisis Center, volunteered at the Women’s Studies Research Center Kniznick Gallery and founded the first Alpha Pi Phi sorority in the United States. Her hobbies include reading Buddhist philosophy books and feminist literature, drawing, visiting art galleries, perusing through narrative photographic series, scrolling through body positive blogs, watching thriller movies, sipping tea and hiking. After withdrawing from her study abroad program in Italy for a month of inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, one of her biggest goals is to make a difference for those who struggle with mental illness and help them on their road to recovery.
