Colbie Caillat

I stumbled upon Colbie Caillat's new song "Try" and I fell in love. What do you think about it? What does it make you feel?

I love that gal and the message that she is spreading with that particular song.

The first time I heard this song, I was having one of my low/stressful days where I feel so overwhelmed with anxiety that I feel like I have to keep busy in order to avoid the feelings. But, when I heard this song for the first time, my whole world came to a stop and I started to cry. I was reminded of the most important thing that I was working towards in my recover, and overall in life, and that is being okay with who I am naturally. I thought, why am I doing this to myself, and who am I trying to impress? But, most importantly, I felt okay with who I was in that moment.

I felt comforted knowing that "I don't have to try so hard, I just have to get up an be me." :)

I agree! Sometimes, we have so much going on. We have to be a student, a mom, a friend, a sister, a daughter, and whatever else we have to do that we simply forget who we are in ourselves. Be you! And Be proud!
