A good recovery-oriented read: "Life Without Ed" by Jenni Schaefer. In the book, Schaefer creates an analogy between her eating disorder and an abusive boyfriend (Ed). This approach to eating disorders is unique. By comparing their eating disorder to a bad boyfriend, sufferers may find it easier to separate from their distorted thoughts/feelings and thus move farther along on the road to recovery.

i am really into the playwright wendy macleod and she has this crazy farce about teen body image called "schoolgirl figure." It's really funny, painful and holds your attention. Also if you are into acting it has alot of good audition monologues. :)
