Hi, I'm Kirsten, a new Moderator :)

Hi Everyone, my name is Kirsten and I just became a moderator on the site. I'm from sunny Florida, but live in New York now for school and work. I am a junior in college, majoring in Psychology. I hope to eventually get my Ph.D. and work with people suffering from eating disorders and body-image related issues. It's a topic of great interest to me, and I feel it's a big problem in our society and want to do all I can to help bring awareness and get one step closer to a solution. I volunteer at the NEDA Helpline and really enjoy speaking to all the different people to help bring them (or their relatives or friends) to a path of recovery. I enjoy reading, working with computer-design, spending time with friends and family, and of course shopping! I can spend hours in the mall, Barnes & Nobles, or Best Buy- clothes, shoes, accessories, books, and technology are all exciting to me. I may post an article or video from time to time that I feel would interest and benefit you. Otherwise, I'm leaving it to you guys and am excited to see what you have to say and contribute to this site!
