Hi Everyone! (:

Hello Everyone,
My name is Sydney. I'm still trying to learn my way around this website because I literally signed up 20 minitues ago. Ha ha. Anyways I'm a recovered anorexic. When I was 11 years old I was diagnosed with anorexia nervosa. As you all know, having this disease is like feeling trapped inside your own body. I became depressed as well as suicidal. I missed most of my school year and constantly visited the hospital for weigh ins and check ups. When I had gained enough weight to be stable, I entered an outpatient facility to help with my recovery. I spent my entire summer there for hours and hours. It was super strict but it helped me a lot. It's been about 5 years now that I am recovered and doing well. I always have my days where that Ana voice comes into my head telling me to engage back into my behaviors, but I tell myself it's not worth it. Depression comes with it and is still with me today. I struggle on a daily basis but am dojng my best to help myself. If anyone is struggling right now, please know you are not Alone and that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. You will beat this and will be happy again. You are beautiful and I hope each and every one of you know your worth. I am always here if anyone ever needs to talk or vent etc. Together we can help each other. Stay strong❤️❤️
