It is dangerous to your body the side effects are quite horrible with short term and long term.
What Chase said is right, making yourself throw up can be very harmful to your body. It might seem helpful to you right now, but it's not a healthy behavior. If your friends have talked to you about it, they must be worried about you. I definitely recommend that you talk to your doctor about the way you feel, or maybe talk about it with a parent or loved one. You can also call the NEDA Helpline or click-to-chat with them online: http://www.nationaleatingdisorders.org/information-referral-helpline .
You could damage your heart, also, I have heard teeth and gastro-intestinal health risks too. Also there maybe damage to your heart too. Please talk with your parents on how to get into treatment.
I know you think it does, but trust me. You're only harming yourself. Try looking at your teeth and mouth in the mirror and asking yourself, "do I want to ruin my enamel, and ruin my mouth?"
Keep trying! It might seem like the easy thing to do, but purging isn't the answer.
