We've all heard that magazines & advertisers rely on Photoshop to achieve the "perfect" look. But do you know just how extreme these transformations can be? Watch this.

We are constantly exposed to images that have been digitally manipulated (not to mention the hours of hair and makeup that models go through prior to their Photoshop makeovers). Videos like this are important reminders that when we compare ourselves to these images, we are comparing ourselves to a version of beauty that is simply not achievable in reality. So let's give ourselves a break and put the pressure on the industries that have made these unhealthy illusions such an omnipresent part of our day-to-day lives.
