"Hunger Games" Star Jennifer Lawrence Talks Body Image

Jennifer Lawrence graces this month's cover of Seventeen and she tells the magazine that she wants to be a positive body image role for girls.

"I remember when I was 13 and it was cool to pretend to have an eating disorder because there were rumors that Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie were anorexic. I thought it was crazy. I went home and told my mom, 'Nobody’s eating bread -- I just had to finish everyone’s burgers.'"

She's also not shying away from sharing her opinion about dieting. She recently told Glamour magazine that she never diets for jobs, and now she's speaking out about the dangers of girls dieting.

"I’m just so sick of these young girls with diets. I think it’s really important for girls to have people to look up to and to feel good about themselves," she says in her Seventeen interview. We're thinking Lawrence is doing a pretty good job of setting a healthy example.
