Ellie enjoys writing pieces to inspire recovery as well as personal stories of her own struggles with mental illness. She has struggled with a lack of self-acceptance, harsh self-talk and judgments for most of her life. Working in therapy is helping her change this and move towards recovery by becoming aware of the need for validation, self-acceptance and a nonjudgmental attitude in the healing process.
