Weight does not define us

Hi all! I came across this quote on pinterest and i loved it so i had to share.

"You are not fat.

you have fat, just like everyone else.

You also have fingernails, like everyone else,

But you are not fingernails."

Our body weight does not define us. Always remember that and remember that your body is a beautiful and unique thing. Take care of it! Love it and nourish it and never deprive it.

Hope everyones week is going great! Love to all!

I love that!! That's so much

I love that!! That's so much for sharing. Weight does not define us. It is simply a number. Our bodies are our vehicles for life and they need nutrition, much like a car needs gas, to survive and thrive. We are only given this one body in life and we must cherish it! Have a great rest of your week everyone!

=)

I love this! Thank you!

Love this!

This quote really puts things into perspective, I like it a lot. One thing that has helped me for sure in my recovery is fact-checking, which is exactly what this quote does because it emphasizes the clear statement that we are made up of fat just like everyone else!

Fats have always been a scary thing for me so, I like what my Dietician told me, she said that a majority of foods are fat soluble, and therefore, no nutrition gets absorbed into our bodies unless we have a healthy amount of fat in our diets. This truth helped me see that we need fats in order to be healthy, so I hope it can help you all too! :)

Thanks for sharing as well,

Thanks for sharing as well, Kristin!

This is so great... Always

This is so great... Always good to remind ourselves :)
