Debbie Salazar

Debbie Salazar is a Cal State Northridge student majoring in film production. Her dream is to become an influential director/screenplay writer and become a voice for women everywhere. 

Anthony Saldivar

Anthony Saldivar is a second-year student at California State University. He is 20 years old and currently working on earning his B.S. in Business Management.

Jennifer Simpson

Jennifer is a San Diego native and has been in recovery from her eating disorder since January of 2014.

Hilary Smith

Hilary is currently recovered from her eating disorder and wants to experience life to the fullest. She is a student at the University of Denver with a major in international studies.

Alexandra Stagliano

Alexandra (Alex) Stagliano is a senior at Dickinson College double-majoring in religion and classical studies.

Annie Stewart

Annie Stewart is a graduate student at Portland State University's School of Social Work. She is especially interested in walking alongside those who have experienced loss and trauma.

Anna Sundquist

Anna is a recently-retired ballerina, trying to use her experience to bring awareness and help others. She is excited to work with NEDA as an intern after her own recovery from an eating disorder.

Jeanette Suros

Jeanette is now going into five full years of recovery from anorexia. She is an advocate for eating disorders and healthy body image and enjoys showing others that recovery is possible.

Proud2Bme is an online community created by and for teens. We cover everything from fashion and beauty to news, culture, and entertainment—all with the goal of promoting positive body image and encouraging healthy attitudes about food and weight.
